Why it works

Recall, not re-reading.

Accountancy exams do not reward recognition. They reward pulling the right treatment, ratio or rule out of your head under time pressure — and that is trainable.

Flashcards with precise definitions

One card at a time, in big type. Tag anything shaky and it is one tap away later.

Weak spots come back

Spaced repetition returns what you got wrong sooner, and leaves alone what you know.

An explanation on every question

Quizzes tell you straight away whether you were right, then why.

Timed mock exams

Sit a paper against the clock when you are ready to test the lot.

Formulas written properly

Ratios, variances and depreciation render as maths, on the phone and the watch.

iPhone, Apple Watch, offline

Once the content is downloaded you revise anywhere — on the commute, at lunch, the night before. Quick quizzes on your wrist.

No account. Your own iCloud.

Progress syncs between your devices through your private iCloud storage, which we cannot read. No password to remember.

Your routine

Three steps. Ten minutes.

No revision timetable to draw up, no cards to write out. Open the app, do one session, close it. A bit more covered every day.

01

Pick your paper

Choose the qualification, the level and the paper you are sitting. Each shows how much you have covered.

02

Do one session

A flashcard deck or a quiz, with an explanation on every answer. Stop halfway and it picks up where you left off.

03

Let the weak spots return

What you got wrong comes back sooner. Sit a timed exam when you are ready to test the lot.

Pricing

Less than a coffee.

The first section of every course is free, so you can see whether this way of revising suits you. After that it is one subscription — and the first month is free.

Straight answers

Questions people actually ask.

How do I join the beta?

Tell us at the top of this page which qualification you are studying, then tap the invite. It opens Apple’s TestFlight, which installs the beta build on your iPhone. The beta is for AAT, ACCA and CIMA students.

Is this worth it next to my study text?

A study text is for understanding a topic once. This is for making it stick: short repeats, exam-style questions, and an explanation on every wrong answer. For £6.99 a month you get your whole paper broken into sessions you can actually fit into a day.

Which qualifications does it cover?

AAT Levels 1 to 4, ACCA from Applied Knowledge through Applied Skills to Strategic Professional, and CIMA from the Certificate in Business Accounting up to Strategic Level — 45 courses in total, each with flashcard decks and quizzes.

Is it affiliated with AAT, ACCA or CIMA?

No. Learn with Leo is independent revision material and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by AAT, ACCA or CIMA. Those names describe the syllabuses the content covers. Always check the current official syllabus for your sitting.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Once the content has downloaded you revise offline — on the commute, at lunch, anywhere. A connection is only needed to fetch new decks and updates.

What if I want to stop?

Cancel any time in your Apple Account subscription settings. Access runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and the free version stays with you afterwards. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

Does my progress follow me between devices?

If iCloud is on, yes — progress and settings sync through your own private iCloud storage, which we cannot read. There is no account to create and no password to remember. See the Privacy Policy.

Last step

Walk in prepared.

The beta is open now for AAT, ACCA and CIMA students, and the App Store release follows shortly. Start with the free version, or take the first month of full access for nothing.
